Feria Aeroespacial México 2023

Feria Aeroespacial México (FAMEX) is an annual event showcasing the latest technology in the civil and military aeronautical field. The fair takes place every April at Military Air Base No. 1, in Santa Lucía, spanning more than 1,205,557 sq. ft (112,000 sq. m). The fair features a spectacular airshow, static displays of small and large aircraft as well as exhibits informing the visitors about new technologies, products, and services in the aviation sector. About 50,000 people attend the event.

The Mexico Aerospace Fair was first organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Mexican Air Force in 2015. The event attracts about 500 aeronautical companies from over 35 countries. Static displays feature over 60 aircraft. Over 5,800 business meetings are conducted at the fair between professionals of the aeronautical field. About 14 space agencies and 40 air forces have their representatives at the fair.

The fair is organized in several pavilions. Hall 1 is dedicated to defense, security, and cybersecurity. Pavilion 2 is all about the Mexican industry. Hall 3 features exhibits from Europe, while Pavilion 4 is dedicated to the USA, Canada, and the rest of America. Pavilion 5 showcases the space industry, while Hall 6 is focused on specialized training, research centers, and universities.
